Electronic signature and the usefulness of functionalities
In fact, for the signatory the signing process is quite simple (checkbox, initials, handwritten signature or text…). For a company that uses an elaborate and comprehensive signing process, the benefits are numerous. Of course, not all players in this market offer the same functionalities. This is why a "BenchMark" should be carried out.
Billing methods are also very different from one provider to another. Some charge per user (usually around € 35 per user), others based on volume and number of users, and it is not easy to recalculate a cost per document. Especially since some sites that advertise an unlimited number of documents. The sites that offer an unlimited number of documents specify in their T & Cs (General Conditions of Use) that this must remain within a reasonable limit or within the limit of 100 documents per year or 100 envelopes per year (for those who have a large number of envelopes that can contain 3 documents). In other cases it is the number of users that are limited (from 1 to 5 for example) and the site assumes that a user cannot have to sign more than 10 documents per month (and often limit of number of documents in their general conditions of sale). So the unlimited offer is still illusory. The most honest billing is billing based on shared volume.
There is only one site to our knowledge that offers this type of billing (volume of documents and signatures) and which is natively multi-entities and unlimited multi-users. This is e-SignProof ©.
The most interesting features for companies mainly concern:
• Unlimited management of entities and sub-entities in a tree-like fashion (see the diagram below)
• The possibility of managing its "Templates" by integrating interactive fields (click box, question with answers, etc.) which will be saved in the signed document.
• Being able to indicate several signatories per document, appointing an approver (called an approval "stamp" or "stamp" depending on the sites), the possibility of copying all or part of the signing process ...
• Being able to manage process monitoring with numerous filters (by entity, documents awaiting signature, signed documents, refused documents, canceled documents, etc.).
• Being able to easily import your own databases which will fill in the various fields of the documents to be sent for signature.
• Being able to defer e-mail sending for documents to be signed, dates and times and minutes of reminders, and deadlines.
There are still many other features that save time and money for companies that choose an elaborate signing process, easy to integrate, and including some features that are very useful to their business.
